Waste, Upcycled
Upcycling Organic Waste into Sustainable Solutions
About Us
What we do
We are a Biotech R&D company that has developed a patented nutrient recapture process which transforms organic waste into a wide array of applications. Our innovation ecosystem is driven by scientists and engineers who co-create with your business to find viable solutions. From waste management processing to organic materials creation, we customize our technology to your business needs.
How to work with us
Our ethos of co-creation drives our search for innovative partners who want to help pioneer the future of organic materials processing and development. We don’t sell a product, we create long-term solutions that we develop in tandem with our partners for continued success.

Sources of Waste
Last year, it was estimated that 78 million tons of food was wasted in the US, costing billions in processing and harming the environment. Our proprietary zero-waste process takes this organic waste and turns it into viable products that can be used in everything from agriculture to pharmaceuticals.
Why Waste?
It’s called “waste” because it’s exactly that, wasted. However, the ever expanding practice of waste upcycling is transforming industries such as agricultural biotech, water filtration, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, by converting waste into valuable products
These initiatives not only reduce environmental impact by minimizing waste but also create a circular bioeconomy, where waste is not an end-product but a resource, fostering sustainability across various sectors. Upcycling thus stands as a testament to human ingenuity, turning what was once considered waste into resources that drive industries forward. SWFT Labs is propelling this industry to new heights.
SWFT Systems
As in nature, our ‘Plants’ also come in different sizes. Our product line includes a variety of systems, spanning from sub-compact, portable units that can be easily transported and set up on-site (approximately the size of a small car) to large-scale, full-size commercial factories.
Our scalable solutions cater to every business need. From personal or small business applications requiring mobility and space efficiency, to industrial scale plant operations demanding robust, high-capacity machinery, each plant is designed with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring high efficiency, reliability, and adaptability.
Applications
The art and science of organic materials creation
Organic materials creation is our core discipline here at SWFT Labs. Combining next-gen technology and advanced AI integrations with the endless possibilities of biological materials,
our scientists are pushing the limits of biological engineering. Our R&D team is driven to partner with other future-focused businesses to develop advancements that improve output,
sustainability, and reduce carbon footprints.
Current Partnerships and Products
Agriculture
At SWFT Labs, we’ve created biotechnology that improves plant growth & yields, increases resistance to pests and disease, and enhances nutritional content. Our proprietary biogel formulation can be used as growth enhancers or coatings, and can be spread or sprayed back to the land to be reused rather than emit gasses from natural farming waste.
Products
- Biogel
- Hydropeat
- Urea Coating
- NOP through TSE Process
- Hydrosponge
- Rubberized Biogel
Partnership Opportunities
Partnerships
Founded in 1977, Jiffy’s vision is to be the “innovation and service leader in sustainable plant growing solutions, to feed and beautify the world.” Jiffy group is a worldwide enterprise serving the Netherlands, US, Canada, Japan, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Frace, Spane, Estonia, and Sri Lanka. They specialize in blending high-quality substrates, Preforma bonded plugs, pots, pellets, and a comprehensive range of coir products. They are the world leader in state-of-the-art plant propagation systems.
SWFT Labs has partnered with Jiffy to research and develop a peat-free solution with substrates using our patented NOP process. With the growing demand for peat-free alternatives, we are committed to creating a blend that will optimize crop growth while minimizing environmental impact.
